End of an Era
After 31 incredible years, 2026 marked the final Byron Bay Triathlon in its current format, an event that has become a favourite for so many. While this chapter closes, there's plenty to look forward to, with a new format on the horizon that promises to be just as much fun. Great Results At Kingy
01 March 2026 - by Huw Jones Oh, what a pity this event didnโt have any points up for grabs for the North Coast Interclub League โ we smashed it! The Breakers took a team of 13 to the second Kingy Tri of the season. 10 competing in the sprint, 1 in the Olympic and 2 in the Olympic teams. Bogiโs partner Sevi was also doing his first ever triathlon and was in the Tempta. Unusually for the Kingy Tri, the weather forecast was pretty good - a bit of sun, not too hot and possibility of a shower....
